When seen from afar, my sculpture has a graceful rhythm and enveloping tension that urges the viewer to move closer, to enter, and to explore. As one moves around it, the dynamic relationship between each element in space is intriguing and ever-changing. My work inspires one to temporarily step out of routines and see the world in fresh new ways. I would hope that the adventurous spirit and imaginative thoughts that the work provokes would motivate this kind of thought in people’s daily lives.
